Last Friday I was in #Alkmaar. The Plan was to get some Photo and Video content from the #CheeseMarket but that did not go as planned. As it was a Cloudy and Rainy day I did not suspect many people to go. But There was no way for me to do nice shots. So I tried to do some #streetphotography instead. As this was my first time doing so I think this shot is basically the only shot that was a bit o.k. Again.. Not the best, but you have to start somewhere.

Every morning on my way to work I pass by this old #tramstation in Hoorn. A look through the window shows the old #Trains in restauration and being maintained.

this tramline was operational from 1880 to 1968 and is now known as the #Hoorn-#Medemblik Steam Tram.

These days, the route is a popular tourist attraction operated by the Hoorn-Medemblik Steam Tram Museum. You can ride restored trams and carriages along the original route, stopping at stations like Wognum, Twisk and Opperdoes.
